All four neuromodulators work the same way — they temporarily block the nerve signals that cause targeted muscles to contract. But they're not identical, and the right choice depends on your anatomy, the area being treated, and your personal history with injectables.

Botox® is the most well-known and widely studied neuromodulator on the market. It has decades of safety data and remains the gold standard for many patients and treatment areas.

Dysport® has a slightly different molecular structure that allows it to spread a bit more, which can be an advantage for larger areas like the forehead. It also tends to kick in a day or two faster than Botox for some patients.

Xeomin® is known as the "naked" neuromodulator — it's formulated without the accessory proteins found in Botox and Dysport. Some patients who feel they've developed a tolerance to other neuromodulators find Xeomin delivers more consistent results.

Jeuveau® is the newest FDA-approved option, developed specifically for cosmetic use. It's a modern alternative with a clean formulation and results comparable to Botox.

What to Expect at Your Appointment

Your first visit starts with a conversation. Celeste takes time to understand what's bothering you, what results you're hoping for, and what you want to avoid. She'll assess your facial anatomy, muscle movement, and skin quality before recommending a treatment plan.

The injections themselves are quick — most appointments take 15–20 minutes from start to finish. We use very fine needles, and a topical numbing cream is available if you'd like it. Most patients describe the sensation as a quick pinch.

There's no real downtime. You can return to your normal routine immediately, with a few simple aftercare guidelines — avoid strenuous exercise, lying flat, and touching the treated area for 4 hours post-treatment.

You'll start to notice softening within 3–5 days, with full results visible at 2 weeks. We schedule a complimentary follow-up at that point to make sure you're happy and address any touch-ups if needed.
